Offline-First Apps
Everdo is built offline-first across all platforms — desktop and mobile. An internet connection is never required for the app to work.
Always available, always fast
Because your data lives on your device, Everdo opens instantly and responds instantly. There are no loading states, no spinners waiting on a server, no degraded experience when your connection is slow or absent.
It works on a plane, in the subway, on a conference network that blocks half the internet. Anywhere your device runs, Everdo runs.
Sync when you have connectivity — not as a requirement
When you do have internet, the sync service runs in the background and keeps your devices up to date. When you don’t, nothing breaks. Any changes you make sync automatically once you’re back online.
You can also sync devices on the same local network without internet at all, using the built-in Network Sync feature.
Stable by design
Web apps get acquired, shut down, or quietly changed for the worse. A locally installed app keeps working regardless — on your schedule, not the developer’s release cycle. You choose when to update, and an old version never stops working just because a server was retired.
This is especially relevant for a productivity system you’ve built habits around. Everdo is designed to be something you can rely on for years.
Your data stays private
Offline-first storage also means your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose sync. To learn more, see Data Privacy and Ownership.
